Personally, I used to like this track a lot and still like it. What reviews haven't mentioned below, but fair to assume because they aren't into the kind is that this track together with The Overlods' Sundown has Goa trance resemblances. Check for example the Instrumental mix at 1:50.

Not forgetting of course Trilithon - Trance Dance 128, check Trance Dance.

A pretty good example on how EBM was extremely influencial on the Valencia electronic scene in the late 80s early 90s - I cannot really explain why the darker sides of techno have always been so popular in Spain but that is the fact - and as a hit it was a huge enormous one, with a huge cultural impact. What do I think of the song itself? I really don't know. It has been so overplayed that right now it gets almost no emotion from me.

Chimo Bayo was a DJ from Valencia in the last 80s, early 90s. While his skills at the decks were average he was more known for his performances including chants with wordplays (as many Djs at that time were used to do) and funny phrases:
-Exta sí, exta no, playing with ecstasy and Spanish esta sí, esta no, which means yes to this, not to that. He said also "esta sí y esta también" yes to this and yes to another one.
-Cuartito pam, pam, pam, quarter pill & bang, bang, bang. Pam is a common crutch or cliché used by Valencian people to emphasize any phrase or situation.
He used to chant "Asi Me Gusta A Mi" over Lil Louis - French Kiss. Other songs like "Bombas" over Megabeat - War.

And that's all his contribution because he was not a producer, the entire music was composed by German Bou who was misserably deprived of any recognition and right over his own song after Chimo Bayo litigated against him.

You can see in this video German Bou himslef explaining how he made the tune

I am of the firm belief that people should not sit-on-the-fence with their opinions regarding music. That is why I'm not about to change the habit of a lifetime today. It can seriously damage one's capabilities in the romantic department. Try not to slip ... Ouch! Fcuk me!!

Let's get one thing straight. The vocal on this record is absolutely disgustingly crap. Cringeworthy doesn't even come close to how I've always felt about it. Reminds me of an old flatmate I shared a house with in the early '90s who would blare this out and recite the lyrics himself a good dozen times a day. Thankfully never heard it out on the club scene much. Yuk with a capital YUK!
