I’m rewriting my review. I didn’t take to this soundtrack when I first purchased it. I guess I had an expectation of what it would sound like since John Carpenter was involved. This is not your typical JC soundtrack but over time it has grown on me. Beautiful score throughout, somewhat ethereal with dark undertones in moments. It has a similar feel and pace to John Harrison “Creepshow” in my opinion. Mystical and sparse. My only regret is that I didn’t wait for the price to drop before I bought it. There’s a lot of sealed copies selling for $20 bucks now and well worth it.

Beautiful soundtrack . It has a different flavour with some beautiful guitar flourishes but still has that John Carpenter feel. One of his most unique and best soundtracks . My copy sounds amazing too

If you are going to merge both the 2020 RSD BLACK FRIDAY version with the 2021 RSD version, shouldn't both hype stickers be represented in the above images?

Does the RSD drop for 6/12/21 deserve a separate release? The hype sticker is different but appears otherwise identical.

I e-mailed the label and confirmed that this is still going to be released this year. The few copies that have made it out are likely promo copies and more will be available in the future. Maybe consider not paying incredibly inflated prices if you don't need to?
