Hilarious prices being asked by sellers, given the number manufactured. A 10 year anniversary edition is coming so this should also help sellers wake up and smell the lacquer.

As for the album itself - it’s a decent effort. Something like this should have been the follow up to Fat of the land. Sadly this album was released about 7 or 8 years too late.

          Best tracks :
          Thunder
          Worlds on Fire
          Take me to the hospital.
Warriors dance is OK but the pre-release was better, clearer breakbeats and crisper sound overall.

The Prodigy finally releases their fourth studio album, Invaders Must Die. Like the title, the content gives you the feeling of a Prodigy in top-shape, still striking out that dirty drum and bass, distorted samples and bullet-proof creativity that we known them for. Overall, this albums has kept much of their own sound - and it still is indeed - their own sound.

With many artists, both electronic and non-electronic, making an entire album can be a real hard job to do. Often, there is released a single, and then the entire album, where only 2-3 tracks are really remarkable and something that you would & enjoy to listen to later on. Invaders Must Die can be played again and again, from Side A to Side D - without skipping anything. Although the tempo and atmosphere might change throughout the tracklist, you are as a listener evenly rewarded in every track, with that crude, raw, rebelness of quality that The Prodigy provides. They have not faded one bit, and I cannot wait to see the Invaders Must Die tour in europe.

On a side-note: Get the Double 12" 180g Album - its really worth the money!

In my opinion some of The Prodigy's best work to date.
They take this album back to the original hardcore roots with old skool samples scattered throughout alongside hard guitar riffs and nasty twisted basslines - Trademark Prodigy !
Highlights for me are the Excellent Omen, particularly the last 20 seconds of twisted bassline, also the brilliant Warrior's Dance with it's Pacific sounding intro and classic 'Come with me to the Dancefloor' sample followed by an excellent bass drop that can't be faulted.
My personal favourite though is the sublime 'Run With The Wolves' - I just can't stop playing it, the hard bangin beats, catchy vocal and the 2nd bass drop is so twisted it's enough to blow up any dancefloor anywhere, instant rewind everytime !
Also, other tracks of note are 'World's on Fire' which is a showcase of some classic prodigy sounds well put together to make a great track to get the massives moving, and Piranha is also a very tasty track, but on the whole nothing that would justify reaching for the skip track button.
Excellent work from The Prodigy !! ;)

Response to Disagree massive - I presume you must be disagreeing with the opening statement of 'Some of the Prodigy's best work to date'? Well, I mean as a collective album, for none of the individual tracks will sur the likes of 'Breathe', 'Smack My Bitch Up', 'Out Of Space', 'Voodoo People', 'Firestarter' or 'Charly' (possibly even 'Spitfire'), but the collective as a whole seems to be a lot more thought out and consistant throughout the whole album, whereas on the other albums you had odd tracks that seemed out of place and a few that would get skipped almost every time ('Full Throttle' / 'Mindfields' / Most of 'Always Outnumbered' !).
Plus the return to their original hardcore roots was such a great lift from their previous album 'Always outnumbered, Never Outgunned' that it seems like it is some of their best work !
Anyway, I expect anyone reading this already knows that Prodigy are the mutt's nut's - especially if you were at Warriors Dance Festival in MK 2010 !! ;)
Time to stop touring and get back in the studio for more tunes !! I want a 6th album ;)
