Billy talents best. Pressing is good and the gatefold is killer having different sleeves on the inside to collect makes it a fun one to have

My copy came with some lil' red streaks on Disc 1 Side A. Sounds amazing, and the textured gatefold jacket is super weird!
-
Mine has two horrible blobs of black vinyl on side B that somehow got in between the pressing moulds. It looks bad and produces a loud pop with every rotation. Couldn't get it replaced because it was sold out.
All these limited editions and and shitty qc are killing the vinyl record industry. -

Sounds great, didn't hear any noise between tracks gaps like others mentioned.
The sleeve has this nice texture on the outside and inside and overall it's a really good release. -
Edited 4 years agoI've waited SO LONG for this, this is THE album I've always wanted on Vinyl. Only managed to get 1 copy before it was sold out everywhere and it arrived damaged :( Sound is at least better than the CD, still would have loved to hear some more details in the high hats, but turning down the treble slightly does the trick. This is probably the best sounding version of this album and definitely the way I'm listening to it from now on. Shame the sleeve is warped around the opening, not sure if it's just because it got damaged in the mail or a factory issue. It's honestly heartbreaking. My number is 1500/3000

#2492/3000 checking in. Just got this in the mail. Great packaging. Great album.
I ended up with “Worker Bees” and “Fallen Leaves” it rhymes 😂 -

Edited 4 years agoI picked this up because it's one of my favorite records from my teens and could never justify the original pressing prices. I was pleased to read that they had Brian Gardner master this and also had a company like Music On Vinyl take this on vs. going a cheaper route. I have four other released from MOV and have been very happy with each purchase. The packaging for this record is extremely high quality and professionally done, especially the embossing throughout the jacket. You can tell this was not something thrown together last minute. My record is #241.
In regards to the vinyl, both LP's were completely flat and there were some black flakes on the record surface from the inner sleeves. I'm glad they went with black inner sleeves because if they were white, it would be impossible to make these flakes out. I am fortunate enough to own an Okki Nokki, so I gave both records a good clean and the problem was solved.
Overall, the sound quality is what really blew me away. Having heard these songs hundreds, if not thousands of times before, I was extremely happy with how great it sounds. The instruments are very well separated and the sound stage is amazing for a punk rock record.
I have noticed that there is a bit of noise in the gaps between songs, but nothing that stood out as crazy bad. I have the Rega Exact cartridge, which is a fine-line stylus, so it might not pick up the noise as bad as some other carts out there. The ONLY thing I dislike about this pressing is how close the lead in groove is to the outer edge, especially on Side 1. There is barely any room to drop in without either starting in the groove or hitting the outer wall. This is a small detail that isn't the end of the world, but something I did notice.
In my personal opinion, if you are a fan of this band and album, this release is worth every penny. -
