Got mine today from Amazon. No stickers on the shrinkwrap for this one either. Has surface noise and is a little warped but it plays just fine. I had the picture disc many years ago and this certainly sounds much better. Cost me £28 all told with shipping from the US so I'm very happy with this.

It's strange to me that they have a Bernie Grundman cut from the original tapes and didn't use those lacquers for any subsequent reissues. Rhino did a whole bunch of reissues like that cut by some of the top names from original tapes (several of which were AAA pressings) and for some reason they just never used those cuts again.

Pressing sounds damn good. Like really really good. Lows are warm and punchy. Highs a crispy and bright. Flat/no warping.

Mine does have a decent amount of surface noise. Hit up Turntable Lab and they swapped it out. The replacement I got was in worse shape haha. Halfway open, record busting through the insert. Pretty sad, but whatever. Record sounds great. Only complaint is the surface noise, and TTL’s subpar customer service which is no fault of the record *shrug*

This re-issue retains the dynamics and subtle details that are so much a part of this album. A really great listen that compares nicely with my og copy. The colored vinyl is a nice touch.

Sick! Superb pressing of an essential, early new wave rock album. Energy to burn, captured perfectly. Vinyl is silent and dynamics are just about perfect for this style of music. White coloured vinyl is literal icing on the cake.

This pressing is superb. Dead quiet and the music just pops. Would have loved to see them back in the day, I wonder what people thought of them. Artists in every sense of the word, any fan of new wave, and post-punk, should want this.

My copy had no stickers. Anyone else have one that was like this?

Mine came sealed but without 'golf ball' and 'Rocktober' stickers.

Up there with the best quality coloured vinyl pressings I own, both physically and sonically. Not to mention a monstrously influential album by a frequently misunderstood band.

Sounds solid and the white vinyl is a nice extra.
