just popping in to say that i find this album cover stunning. a simple image that's extremely resonant.

Edited 4 years agoMine have some surface noise, it's pretty audible during quite part like piano and stuff during the side A, side B sound better. Also my copie came with one corner folded despite being brand new and sealed from bandcamp, it's pretty apparent because of the glossy black and annoying since I take very good care of my CD and Vinyl, and to top it off, the inner sleeve came with a hole in one of the 3 "closed" side which make the LP slide out of it if I don't put an external inner sleeve.
It's not a big release so I'm fine with my copy, but my old Devil is fine indies version by radicalis that got released before Z&A got the fame sound better, actually all my Z&A lp sounds better than this. I'll try to give it a good wet clean and see how it goes.
About the music by itself, despite myself not being into heavy political music, it has some pretty good songs, Wake Of A Nation and Tuskegee are great track but overall it's also easily the weakest release of Z&A so far, but I don't think this EP should be taken as a main release anyway and I don't think Manuel Gagneux made it with the idea of having Devil is Fine or Stranger Fruit Successor.

Some powerfull stuff. Good hard vocals with harsh sounds. Good lyrics and good execution. All in all a good EP.
