Wow, the volume on this is super low! That is by far the most disappointing aspect of this bootleg. There's also noticeable gaps between songs, which I can't for the life of me figure out why they're there. But hey, you get what you pay for, I suppose. The music itself, once you turn it up, actually sounds pretty good. A decent way to tide you over until that fateful day when Trent Reznor decides to bless us with the Definitive Edition...whenever that may be!

Audio is pretty weak, songs have noticeable gaps between them. The only thing saving this release is just how good the album is, but there is no reason to buy this unless you absolutely cannot wait. I was desperate to own Year Zero on vinyl in some form and I got what I paid for, but the definitive edition will no doubt be miles better.

I managed to snag an original copy from a local seller for $40. I dont think he knew what its worth. The cover is a little beat up but the vinyl play great. This is my favorite NIN album, but there are many in very close second. Trent really is a musical genius.

Edited 4 years agoThis blue vinyl has a quiet humm to it, but it's NOT noticeable as tracks are played.
Besides that, the sound quality is really good. Very wide sound spectrum and nicely mixed. I enjoy this release very much until the official re-release will eventually come out. I'm very happy with it.
