Have the cream one, not sure about this. Sounds muttered and bland, definitely mastering issues. I would recommend to avoid it.

Edited 2 years agoi have the cream vinyl. The sound is frankly bad. it is barely listenable with an audio technica 760 SLC. forget dj cartridges. its a shame, this record is utterlly good musically. but something ruined it.. mastering ?
-
Really nice pressing, if you hold it up to the light you notice a slight swirl pattern that looks super nice. Almost no warping at all!

I can echo what the other comments are saying that the mix sounds very muddy. You can definitely notice it the second the record starts. Such a shame for album that I otherwise throughly enjoy.

Ignore my last comment. After ing the digital files I realize it's not the vinyl. The digitals sound the same. I guess they were going for that "low fi" thing. I don't get it. Incredible musicianship and talent...this stuff should be produced and engineered to the highest audiophile level.
-
Unfortunately terrible sound. Distortion and noise. These musicians are so tight and I want to hear Them...the crisp highs and warm Bass and keys. I’m very disappointed.
-
Love the color contrast of the wax with the artwork, however my copy has a little bit of annoying surface-noise/distortion throughout a few of the tracks.
