Does anyone have any tips on how to preserve the spine on this record book (boxset) the weight of the back and cover are playing havoc on the spine. Tape isn’t an option any thoughts?

One of the best album I have! Yellow colour and all the extras (polaroid <3) are stunning. Only issue - there is no cover for this, boxset is big and hardcover is not that "hard". Anyway, brilliant album!
-
i mostly listen prog-psych rock:))After reading the comments here, seriously think about taking this record:)))
-
album is incredible! the whole boxset/book thing is great, beautiful pics etc and vinyl itself has great sound quality! vinyl isn’t very heavyweight but still sounds great as i just said 😊

I can only confirm the positive reviews. The sound is very clean, I had no skips or pops and the vinyl itself is beautiful as well.
I often have the problem with pop songs on vinyls, that they tend to skip and pop a lot, but they did a great job with that one and I‘m very impressed.
Not to mention, the album is hot shit and definitely deserves hype and . I love it.
The book sadly came ripped on many places, but it‘s okay. I still love it. -
This version sounds extremely clean, no noise and great volume. The other deluxe aspects are just icing on the cake

Edited 4 years agoThis is really exclusive release. Hardcover with huge booklet book in the size of hardcover pressed on HQ paper. Yellow neon record is inserted in the front into paper box, in second box i found art print with original cover sleeve picture , tattoo, big sticker and one nice polaroid photo. I can say that this kind of press moved vinyl record pressing culture on higher and new level. Recommended not only for DUA LIPA fans but to vinyl collectors as well. Yes , price is very high, but now i fully understand it. For real fans, vinyl fanatics and vinyl fetishists!

Dua Lipa Crafts a Studio 54-Worthy Disco Revival on ‘Future Nostalgia’
“I know you’re dying trying to figure me out,” Dua Lipa sings on her new album Future Nostalgia’s title track. She’s not wrong: While her self-titled, 2017 debut established her as a smoky-voiced purveyor of easily digestible Top 40 hits, it lacked a sense of who Lipa
actually was alongside her big personality peers. Her versatility outweighed almost everything else that could set her apart.
Three years later, the “female alpha” as she deems herself on the title track, is living up to her words. Future Nostalgia is a breathtakingly fun, cohesive and ambitious attempt to find a place for disco in 2020. Incredibly, Lipa is successful: the upbeat album that she decided to release a week earlier than planned is the perfect balm for a stressful time.
“Future Nostalgia” is like a neon “Welcome” sign. Its camp, Daft Punk-ian robot funk accents silly full of nonsensical but smartly delivered one-liners like “I can’t teach your man how to wear his pants.” The album’s lead single “Don’t Start Now” has become a mega-hit for a good reason: its the type of big, Robyn-esque break-up dance-pop anthem that every pop star is due to attempt at least once. Lipa’s special sauce is a well-played mix of disco strings and funk bass in the vein of Chic and Donna Summer.
“Hallucinate” is gorgeous, house-inflected euphoria that’s due for some club remixes ASAP, while “Physical” is a high-octane, Olivia Newton-John-referencing slice of Eighties synth-noir in the style of classic like “Sunglasses at Night.” On “Break My Heart,” she samples INXS’ “Need You Tonight” to bewitching effect.
Future Nostalgia only fails when it sounds too tied to the pop trends of 2020: “Cool” and “Boys Will Be Boys” lack the rest of the album’s warmth and oomph. “Cool” also has the bad luck of being sandwiched between “Don’t Start Now” and “Physical,” two of Lipa’s best songs.
At its best, the 24-year-old’s latest can make you feel like you’re nuzzled away in some corner of the Studio 54 dance floor, ogling the likes of Bianca Jagger and Cher under the glimmering lights. Thankfully, Lipa’s loving nod to disco feels also perfect for right now. Commence your self-isolation dance party immediately. -
Did anyone else receive their autographs after getting the message from the store " Dua is g the signed cards and they’ll be with you soon."? And did anyone else get the impression that these are fake? https://twitter.com/orangepeel204/status/1271523128406138881 The pictures in the Twitter post clearly show the problem.
