The reviews below me are ridiculous. This is a great compilation, some amazing tracks, especially Welcome To The World by Manmademan. Out of this world for sure.

I agree with Skeleton-Man - a compilation that is so all over the place it falls apart. Most tracks are quite weak. Wow, when Goa died, it fell in flames and lots that came after it was pretty poor. ~*~

The trick for me with Matsuri’s releases is to sort out the good tracks from the crap. Cause here and there there is a lot of crap! Or maybe I’m just not there yet. Or maybe I am …
To get back on the subject, the thing I like about the best of Matsuri’s tracks is that they could incorporate the Goa vibe with such easy manner they were also able to foresee nowadays full on. At the core of Matsuri it’s dark and mean, still, with all the positive vibes of the Goa spirit. I trippin’ immensely to these tracks in 1997 and only now 10 years later have I gotten to know the label thay drove me insane.
Oh yes, there are the bunch of tracks I never understood. Syrinx’ Tremolo Heaven foresees Infected Mushroom’s guitar nightmare, The Visitor’s Reality Check is one I don’t need, Joujouka presents decent tribal psy, Deflo lifts the bar with Monomanic and then …
After 7 tracks of waiting Alienated sends in the cavalry with Lucky. Did they purposefully hide these tracks?! A flood of standard psy ing by suddenly there's balls, Koxboxian trippiness and Goa positivity it takes a party to overcome.
You better believe it. One 5/5 and a whole lutta 2/5s …
