Just noticed that the font on the front cover of my Action Records pressing is different than the ed images. Mine has the Myriad (?) font that's on the 2024 Cherry Red reissue instead of the stencil font. Anyone else have Myriad font front cover on the 2003 pressing?

In my top 3 favourite Fall albums - and that's bloody hard to do!. Took me into doors and thoughts I didn't expect when I first got a copy years ago. Just another nodal point on the Fall journey of many.

I have both pressings but am I the only one who prefers the Narnack version to the Action one? Two more extra tracks, for one thing...different mix of "...Sparta F.C" but that's a minor quibble. I spin the US pressing the most....

I agree with the positive retrospective reviews here. It's a killer album. In of 21st century Fall, it's one of the best, if not the best. Having said that, it starts stronger than it finishes, but that's a quibble.

Now, since MES' ing, we can appraise The Fall's output as a whole and hear the glory of this album for what it is, an absolute masterpiece. More produced and filled with fleshed out "songs" than its predecessor, Are You Are Missing Winner, the record's greatness is only approached by its follow up, Fall Heads Roll and later Remit, though never quite equaled. As a fanatical Fall fan, this remains one of my all time favorite Fall discs.

FYI, the tracklist is printed wrong on the cover and labels on the original 2003 UK Vinyl release.

If anyone wants to correct it then you can rename:

A6-Open The Boxoctosis #2 to A6-Janet Johnny and James
                B1-Janet, Johnny + James to B1-The Past #2
                B2-The Past #2 to B2-Open The Boxoctosis #2

I've checked track timings against my US pressing to and confirm.

                US:
                A1-Green Eyed [03:46]
                A2-Mountain [03:22]
