If you are searching for an older press that isn't Back On Black and more is more affordable than the first press then you can't go wrong with this. On comparison (to the first press), the sound is almost identical. A slightly brighter sound than the original but is only discernible when recording both LPs to a DAW and flicking between the sources.
The overall package is slightly better quality than the first press, having a quality gatefold cover and different artwork inside. There is no innersleeve with this one , but the only thing missing is the lyrics as the reverse side of the original lyric sheet is now the back cover.
The front cover artwork is not a perfect replica of the original but better than any newer press I have seen. The cover is brighter and slightly zoomed and features a larger logo and title. -
