legend has it that when Dimitri first approached Rod, he didnt specify anything. Rod then provided him with a mellow, very ambientish album, which Dimitri disliked and asked for something more aggresive, punchy, driving. in return Rod provided him with what we can hear now. Thanks to Dimitri for disliking the first batch, this release is incredible, one of the most interesting albums from 2019.

Overall a relaxing, deep and hypnotic experience. Sounds evoke night atmospheres . My top track in this album is "Air-Port".

Really enjoy in the increase in tempo, hope he continues in this vein. Dub techno has had a similar plod for quite some time, nice to hear something with more juice.

Edited 5 years agoHe wants to sound like Basic Channel all the time.
Unfortunately, the newer the worse ...
Some BC, some Chain reaction, some Porter Ricks ... -
Edited 5 years agoThat sounds like railroad wagon with echo and flanger. Call me an ignoramus, but I think that's just noise.

Edited 5 years agoThe original tracks are way too speedy for me. So I made myself a 'Continuous DJ mix' and pitched all the tracks down from -5% to -10% and put all the tracks to 134 BPM. So now I've got a great Deepchord techno mix that's flows nicely for 68 minutes.

DeepChord, stoked on amphetamine, playing live inside a building that I'm standing next to - listening to the muffled tones from outside. What's not to like?
