Edited 4 months agoPicked this up today, 59 years after it was issued, and I have to say it sounds amazing. As others have said, it is vibrant & "bassy". The stereo mix is quite enjoyable. Anyone who thinks CD's sound better than vinyl, needs to give the Canadian 1st Stereo pressing a spin.

I have a version which has the same font and layout with non breakable except the 360 sound stereo is white not black and the rim text also. Cover doesnt have the mono block on front. I also have a 1968 pressing canadian but it is not exactly has the same layout label and cover than this one. Probably a early reissue.

I love this earliest stereo pressing and find it vibrant and more “bassy” that other subsequent pressings. This is a keeper if you can find a relatively clean one.

Edited 5 years agoThis is the very first pressing. The "Playable on Mono" block on front, black 360 labels, and glued (not printed) inside the gatefold are the signifiers.
