I like it how much love they put into the CD-edition. Giving us two CDs, for each session one, although the music could easily fit on one disc - great and much better than the overpriced vinyl-edition. Maybe Steve Albini doesn't hate CDs that much anymore. CDs are better than vinyl anyway. Vinyl can suck my Discman! Peace.

The end of comprehension: I deeply love both the work of John Peel and of Touch and Go Records. After the death of JP had been announced on German radio, my cousin phoned me to offer consolation. That said, I am at a loss what to make of this. Both Wikipedia and the BBC archive state, that there were no more Peel Sessions after his demise in October 2004, while this second Peel Session by Shellac was recorded on 1 December 2004. It is all very mystifying . . . The live version of the full concert has Steve Albini addressing the audience: "Good day, we are Shellac of North America and we're dedicating this session and probably the rest of our career to John Peel!"
