Edited 9 months agoOne of the rarest broken beat compilations - though not exactly broken beat -, one of the most overlooked, and one of the most fascinating: this overview of the People singles features many of the Bugz crew in different monikers and some other guests in long expansive compositions that go from disco or house to pure funky jazz. Highlights are many, though my favourites are the house ones ("Don't Go" is a great garage tune, but the Electric Soul ones are equally great), the really expansive New Sector Movements tracks, featuring Roger Beaujolais, and the Likwid Biskit tunes, that moniker used to replicate (with great results) the sounds of Herbie Hancock. Really recommended, unless you want to chase the 12''.
