Even my crunchy scratchy version sounds great. No amount of surface noise can hide the genius of Arthur Lee and Love.

This debut from LA group Love I think is far better than the follow-up record Da Capo which some consider as a milestone of american psychedelic rock movement but the latter really tends to get dull in some parts of its production.
Singer Arthur Lee is said to have changed from kind of "Jagger" to maybe a certain "Sweet Baby James Taylor" in only two years. After all Love´s debut is still more into Garage-Rock and also has some great drug-related ballads aside but Forever Changes is their absolute masterpiece anyway. -
I believe this entry is a Monarch press, as mine is and matches the labels.
