I may be lucky. The sound quality and vocals are PERFECT! But there is a scratch or something on make up. That’s the only minus but everything else seems just fine -
As many others have said, this pressing is not good. The instrumentals sound great but Ariana sounds distorted and muffled throughout almost the entire album. I would have expected better sound given the songs are spread out so much. The jacket on the other hand is really thick and good quality. -
Edited one year agoA good album with ok sound quality. My copy is silent and without pops and clicks.
For me the album has to much bass and Ariana is drowed in the mix.
Record player used: Pro-ject Debut Pro with Mofi Ultratracker pick up. -

Maybe I'm lucky as well - mine didn't even need a record cleaning solution the grooves were THAT clean, and playing on my AT-LP120X/PreSonus 3.5 speaker setup, the bass and trebles are phenomenal. Weird to see the amount of whack copies! All in all, my copy is an 11/10
edit: my copy was a sealed purchase as well shipped from EU to Canada, so it wasn't cleaned by another party - only a bit of external damage to my sleeve due to shipping and to be expected of course with an imported item - but the inside goods were again, flawless! -

Edited 2 years agoMy copy sounds great as well, no clicks, no skips, it's all very clean. A bit of sibillance here and there, but nothing that is super bothersome.

honestly, I'm astonished by those reviews, because my copy plays fine - except NASA, which has a few clicks here and there. Ariana's voice isn't distorted at all, there're no skips. I have to it it has some surface noise and sounds worse overall than my target exclusive one though. -
honestly…. Maybe it’s just the one I got. The vinyl is super wobbly, skips (especially on thank u next) aris voice sounds super distorted, and the background music doesn’t sound right. I’ve played with pitch, I’ve blowed off the vinyl, everything. :/

Packaging is cute but the vinyl themselves sound atrocious. No skips but Ariana sounds distorted on all sides.
