Edited one year agoBought this damaged at local used media shop (Bookoff in Costa Mesa, CA) for $49.99USD+tax: it had five small cracks around the spindle hole no doubt caused by prior owners not understanding how to use the unintuitive tray lock mechanism. Glad I took a chance -- the sound is amazing on this and the "GAIN System" from MFSL is no joke: I barely need to turn up the volume on my amp to get good loud—yet clear—sound from this disc. The recording sounds warm as it should but the clarity and detail is so nice. Edge's guitars really pop to the forefront on this pressing vs. the 2007 remaster which I have from the 20th Anniversary box set. If you can find this at a $100USD for or less I'd say get it -- you won't be disappointed. BMM

I'm glad to see so many positive comments on this disc. This has always been the version I have returned to. It has the clarity without being clinical, it just sounds right. -
