Notes
1970 Vertigo UK pre-release White Label with a prototype / sample cover.
The first sign that identifies this vinyl record as a UK 1st issue, is the absence of a break between the tracks "Hand of Doom" and "Rat Salad" on the B side, which is unique to the UK first Master. (The B side looks like it has only 3 tracks, but there are actually 4)
The second identifier is the very early runout stamps,
*Note- The A side first Mother failed, and was never used, so "2" is the first.A side Mother
The Sample Cover
The sample cover is identifiable as a first issue sleeve, even without the inside of the gatefold, and the Big Bear credits.
The Vertigo swirl logo, and the VO Price Code prints are both slightly out of with the rest of the sleeve, leaving a small amount of the base white card showing between the Black and Red inks of the Vertigo swirl (front) and VO Price Code (back)
This printing error is particular to the earliest sleeves released, as the error to the company logo had been missed in the final check.
Not all of the "Big Bear " sleeves have this printing error.
Only a the earliest "Big Bear" sleeves have this printing error.

Edited 7 months agoThere is a guy who is trying to get this from me, and he has added 2 copies of this to his to make it look like there are more of these... one of them is hidden, but both are in the one .
I challenge ANY of the people who claim to own this, to show it.... prove it... the one pictured is my one... the other 2 are imaginary.ones added by a low and despicable git
This is a unique White Label UK 1st Pressing. -
This White label vinyl record is not a first pressing, regardless of the Big Bear sleeve, as there is a break between "Hand Of Doom" and "Rat Salad"... you would need to see the full matrices, but it is not a UK 1st or 2nd issue, as both have no break between "Hand Of Doom" and "Rat Salad"
