My copy has the same matrix/runout as this release but has the default beige/light blue Arista labels with a clear "made in Gt Britain" at the end of the copyright text, but with a double dip center like an Irish press, but not translucient! (no matrix/runout is given for the only Irish press listed for this album so I am reluctant to add new release with such contradictions)..... Great sound quality on this one though.

Edited 2 years agoAmazing sound quality on this release. Pressing is good too. My copy had a bit of surface noise on some tracks though. Edit: The noise got quieter after 2 wet cleans and a few spins.
I made two needledrops of two tracks from this vinyl record - You can find them on the right side in the videos - Under the names:
The Alan Parsons Project - The Gold Bug (The Turn Of A Friendly Card) (1980 UK Vinyl)
The Alan Parsons Project - Time (The Turn Of A Friendly Card) (1980 UK Vinyl)

Memorable for the line "the game never ends and your whole world depends on the turn of a friendly card".
Melodic and well put together as a series of themes about cards and life.
