It’s true that this reissue is poorly mastered, over-compressed, and low resolution. But, like a picturesque sunset through a dirty window, the beauty still shines through. Until a proper reissue comes along, this will have to do….

Edited 6 years agoTransferred from vinyl and whilst not a great job done - just too much sibilance and compression at high-end (most notably the cymbals), it is ok for in-car listening. My guess is that both recent vinyl reissues will be the same because the same transfer will have been used and unfortunately it's nowhere near good enough!
