I just played this today after a very long time. I bought this on vinyl circa 92 whilst going through my rap phase......its an incredible old school rap album and this OG press sounds amazing. Clear and punchy that fills your headphones.....God I miss those dayz of way back.

This Is Truely A Great Album And One Of The Very Greatest Productions In All Of Gangsta Rap, I Even Like Some Of The More G Funk Type Songs More Than Some Of The Stuff On The Chronic. It's A Shame Tho That This Album Isn't Flawless With Side 2 Having Some Bad Filler Tracks. Anyway, A Must Own Album For Fans Of NWA, Dr. Dre And West Coast Rap In General.

Brilliant sound quality on this gangsta rap classic! Great separation, dynamics and good sense of depth. It should probably be mentioned in the notes that the back cover erroneously states the 18 track CD running order instead of the US LP track list which omits ‘Prelude’, ‘Message To B.A.’ and ‘Real Niggaz’.

In my own personal opinion, this is the best NWA album, especially beat wise, it's cracking'... a definition of my teenage years. Easily in my top 10 rap / hip hop lp's... approach to danger...

I the first time I heard this album. It was on the boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey. I was 14 and a t-shirt shop had it on blast. I couldn’t believe they were pumping such an explicit album, but at the same time, was happy as Hell they were. I sat there on a bench and listened to the whole album. (I think they may have played it back to back). I couldn’t get enough of it. When I got home, I immediately went and got it on tape. And when I say, “got”, I mean that I probably stole it like I did Straight Outta Compton and 100 Miles And Runnin’. I guess I owe Cube, Dre, Eazy, Ren, and Yella $7.99, and Eazy, Dre, Ren and Yella $5.99 and $8.99 to this day. (((((((Great Album)))))))

Can anyone explain why Discogs has suddenly disallowed sales of this item when other versions are still on sale... I had a copy for sale but it was removed without any prior warning or notice

1991.hmmm,such a long time ago but a huge turning point in my musical education.I was 15 and bought this with my pocket money/paper round money.I rewound the swears and didn't imagine that this would have such a profound effect on my life.I'm sure i bought this along with Ice-T - Original Gangster and Public Enemys - Nation Of Millions.Essential now and nothing i could have predicted would be so important at the time, like buying the HHC poster special with Ice Cube on the cover.
