Why isn’t anyone talking about how this song closely resembles “I Don’t Want To Be Late!”, by MC Dr “T”? Both came out in 1986 but I wonder which came first?

The story about the track Nu Shooz – I Can't Wait (Vocal/Long "Dutch Mix") is that Peter Slaghuis the remix produced from the original version. In that time the label owners had Peter several times to make a remix of this track. In the first he didn’t want to do that because he didn’t like the track but after several phone calls Peter did make the remix. Peter remixed the track in 1,5 hour. After the label owner listing to the remix t and liked the remix. They called Peter to let him know that the remix get released and asked Peter the costs are. Peter had 2 option, remix royalties or $500. Peter took the $500 to end this story because wanted to finished this order..!

It became a number 1 hit all over the world!
