Frou Frou – Details

I was very angry at myself when i realised that there has been a release on vinyl in 2018 and i completely missed it. So…as live goes…lucky me today found one at my local record store for 40$, NEW and besides of some storage wear at the sleeve in perfect condition🤩 i know the prices are really high already…thats why i didn‘t bought one, but now if i know how it sounds i would not hesitate to spend 300…400 $ for it. So get one as long as you can before the price gets insane👍 another example that digital will never beat analog…it‘s physically just impossible!!! Sound is just out of that world!!!!❤️

Short addition after side B has been listened as well. Just searching for words…almost speechless, that sound…just WOOOW. The CD is great already…masterpiece…but the LP is at a complete other level!! Not possible to find a compare or even describe what i just heard now!!!

I have the CD of this album. Is it worth getting this version (or any future MOV vinyl version) if what I care about is the sound quality (ie dynamics, mastering, imaging, etc..) stuff an audiophile would obsess about when comparing the digital vs. this version?

Desperate for a repress of this masterpiece sometime soon, considering the 20th anniversary.

This has really gone up in value over the past couple of years. Really great sounding pressing and the gatefold looks fantastic.

I feel proud for getting MOV to press this album when they did. I submitting a request through their website to get the album reissued on "dark red vinyl" 1-2 months before it was announced 🤣 that said the sound quality on this record is phenomenal, dead quiet with no pops or clicks on my copy!

I cannot express how excited I am that they finally pressed this masterpiece on vinyl <3

Music on Vinyl can be hit or miss but I must it they nailed this one. Not a single pop on side A or side B. No noise at all, dead silence between tracks, overall tremendous sound quality/stereo image. This album deserved only the very best pressing and MOV delivered. I'm a huge fan of this album, listened to it more than you'd believe since the week it came out and strongly recommend purchasing this if you're a fan of this album.

Not sure if the 1,000 limit is just for the red version and subsequent repressings will exist, or if it's just 1,000 like many other MOV releases. Either way, if you're on the fence I'd purchase this now rather than waiting, just to be safe.

Also, it's not "red vinyl", it's red marbled with Burgundy/maroon. Looks really, really nice! Top notch release.
