Second outing in the Magik series by Tiesto, and this disc starts with a slightly more low-key track than the first, with a lovely progressive number setting the calmer tone of the mix. The mix moves through some lovely swirling trance with Dominion and Allure keeping a good energy but much lighter vibe than Magik One. Vincent de Moor goes bends towards dutch anthem trance here into Hardy Heller's classic. The tone softens again for the fantastic Cry For Love and stays in a nice euphoric progressive regime, touching on and early appearance of the original version of 1998. Dos Deviants offer an excellent plucked trance number keeping the energy high and a techy offering from Luke Cage before the immortal Taucher setting a gorgeous soundscape. The Ibiza atmosphere is carried by groovezone (very similar sound to the early ITWT compilations) and Lord of Tranz before the mix rounds out with two of Tiesto's own collabs with the hypnotic Earth and ending with Control Freaks.
Altogether a strong show and definitiely a mix not to be missed, this mix also set the tone for the next two Magik mixes that were much more "Ibiza"-like in there sound and moving away from the dark, brooding classic trance sound. 5/5.
