I have this version. However, it has small stickers with CBS and their logo in black and gold background on the labels. The front page cover also has a sticker that has the CBS logo and SQ logo on top of the Columbia print.

Can anyone confirm or deny that there might be different versions of some or all tracks here compared to the normal stereo version? I'm currently playing MILES RUNS THE VOODOO DOWN from "The Full Spectrum of Quadraphonic Sound" sampler LP on Realistic/Columbia (1972), on my non-quadraphonic system, and detect considerably different echo & reverb trails on Mr. Davis's trumpet. I'm to assume the remix engineer took certain liberties on processing the instruments to best utilize the quadraphonic medium & in doing so made the mix sound quite different when played in a normal stereo setting? Any insight on this topic would be much appreciated as i'm extremely enjoying this new-to-me mix & think i'm needing a quad pressing of the whole album asap.

Edited 2 years agoI am playing it in stereo only system. Holographic sound stage with pin point accuracy of instrument position and "living presence", easily one of the best audiophile vinyl in my collection.
