personnaly my two favourite tracks here are on disc 2 - The boy from Nowhere - Highlife and MK Ultra - Polarizion. It seems that those guys were directly connected to outer space or something, because those two tunes are stunningly beautiful. They have a sense of dream without any cheesiness, only layers and layers of sounds that put you in a real trance. I wonder why it's so hard to discover other tracks from that era that have the same quality as those two. Any help welcome.

As seen by the inclusion of several happy hardcore tracks like the misplaced "Human Target - Rausch?", this the time when the golden age of trance was lost.

In the prolific Trancemaster series, Trancemaster 9 stands out as the very best. Disc 1 is astonishingly good and has a strong claim to being one of the best trance compilations from that time. Human Target - Raush?! still delivers transcendent emotion and intensity, encoming in some small way the vagaries of life from dark to blissful. Also recommended are Trancemaster 6, 8 and 12.

This Double-CD is the soundtrack of the techno overkill 1994.
Too much money, too much drugs, too much fast cars -
sexy girls in all the club, smiling people all over, records and records,
mega mega raves, sky raves and 1 000 000 watt. In no other year
was made more financel success in the techno scene and this 2CD
with the progressive hardtrance and nrg-techno presents this.
Sweet and sometimes very near to commercial melodies and
emotional sounds makes the first CD coming as good as DiamonDie wrote.
Every raver danced happy and catched by to this tunes but didn't know
that time would be changed soon. One last scream, lovely crowd.
Time told us that many many bad releases had followed, 1995 was the
end of the rising direction of the successs of the rave generation that has
          the beginning in 1990.

But we never forget those hot summer nights around 94 driving fast into
the sundown somewhere on endless motorways in
from one club to the next.

The second disc could be better (even though it's very good as it is), but if this album only included the Disc A, it might be the best trance collection ever, IMO. It's a great mix of somewhat different styles. Maybe I'm biased, because this was one of the very first trance cd's I heard, but this still beats the all collections that are released nowadays.
