Five stars, no question. Probably my favorite U2 album. You won't really have heard any of these songs on the radio, so they still sound totally fresh. Great pressing on these sweet Island sunrise/sunset labels.

Musically, it's incredible, pure, wide-open rock, kicks ass like no other. Gloria is just orgasmic. I've heard it said that many bands' best album is the one they made before the one that made them big. In the case of U2, it could be argued that War is the one that made them big, leaving October as their best. I think so!

Love this album and this pressing sounds very open, nice separation, tight lows and mids. Very pleased with this latest acquisition.
