A curio. Although best-known as the purveyor of cheesy synth fronted library music LP's, this is something altogether different. Yes, it is a library LP, but no cheese, no schmaltz, no wibbly warbles at all! This is a psychedelic fusion album, uniquely making extensive use of the percuphone, a mechanical percussive instrument invented by Patrice Moullet in 1970 (which he played in Catherine Ribeiro + Alpes), fleshed out by scintillating grooves, fuzz guitars and swirly keyboards. It has to be one of my all-time favourite library releases!
