There are very few tracks you can point to and say, "this kicked off a new genre" or "this is definitive, everything that came after borrowed something from it". This is one of those tracks. Acid hit full swing and gushed across the UK and US rave scenes, in underground clubs your parents never warned you about, all carried forward on the Humanoid wave. It's a keeper.

Remixes are hq, but the original brings back those memories.
Normal chunky Plumps mix with their talent for 'plumping' up the acid in anything. Gurning breakbeat dancefloor spazout bizzness. -
The original still rocks, jep, but I really like the 2001 Plump version also and even better is the Krafty Kuts interpretation, which reminds of Josh Wink's "Higher State Of Consciousness", but better! This is old and new skool ACIIID at its best, yum yum!

I fuckin love this record. One of my first forays into acid house. Krafty Kuts and the Plumps are worthy remixers and definitely deliver the goods on these remixes. But I have to it the original is still the best. Hard to believe that it first surfaced back in 1988!

Forget the remixes - stick with the 12" Original. It may be ten years old, but it still stands up in 2002. One of the tracks that got me into dance music in the first place....
