All time house anthem. The melody, btw, was inspired on "Let's Groove" by Earth, Wind & Fire

With all the 90s house classic reissues these days and the growing demand of big tunes like this I'm surprised Strictly Rhythm did not go for a second repress yet. That issue from 2007 was kind of limited. It's definitely one of their very best selling records in their catalogue.

Let's Groove worked then and it works just as well today, a timeless house groove that I love dearly

PLEASE ANYONE OUT THERE........ There's this wicked old house track from about 96' maybe, the chorus has this blokes voice singing, "changing up, changing up, moving up" THIS IS REALLY DOING MY HEAD IN, it's a very jackin' funky house tune.

Well, I don't know what to say, just listened to Let's Groove _again_. This track rocked it back then and still does now, top stuff. A traditional style house sequence with the most polished sounds of the era, pumping kick, crisp hats, crash that really means something, an organ bass that boots on a loud system, none of these build ups that don't go anywhere, straight into the groove! A must in your collection if you are in to house classics.

Definitely something to have if you're into house music history - or simply if you like great dancefloor tracks ! -. "Let's Groove" is for me the perfect epitomy of what dance music should be : silly, pumpin', innovative, all in one ! Built around irresistible loops which come and go, peaking and teasing ... Need I say more ?
Second reason to get this 12" : the curious "Talk To Me" track. I've always understood it as a sort of tribute to Prince : it samples the famous "Alphabet Street" scream, and the French lyrics resemble a lot "Girls And Boys" ones ... In Prince's "Girls And Boys" : "vous étiez de l'autre côté de la salle, vous danciez si fort, je sentais votre parfum. Votre sourire m'a dit que nous devrions nous parler, sur la piste de danse baby (U were on the other end of the room, U were dancing so hard, I could smell your perfume. Your smile told me we should talk, on the dancefloor baby)" ; in Morel's "Talk to me" : "Je te vois danser, à l'autre bout de la piste, je t'ai surpris, me regarder dans tes yeux (I see U dance, on the other end of the dancefloor, I saw you looking at me in your eyes)". Anyway it's very very bitchy and totally ahead of its time - today it sounds as fresh as when it bursted out. Dope !
