This is the best wu tang clan record in my opinion it was the record that started the love for hip hop and as a vinyl the record is like no other and a must have in any good collection

Edited 2 years agoCan an owner of this version confirm if this is an 180g vinyl and update the format accordingly?

Edited 6 years agoThis Simply Vinyl release is the one I own from 2000 - I have to turn the gain on my Xone 92 mixer to full / 10 to get it to a normal 'popping 0dB' signal. Can hear crackles/pops etc a lot louder since it's so darn quiet you have to crank it to hear it at normal volume. This is 180g vinyl but too quiet. I'm used to some quiet hip hop albums but it's rare I need to turn my gain on a channel beyond 3pm...

@ in_a_conundrum......As far as i can the press of this is good quality. Its a really thick vinyl and it was remastered to sound a lot louder. It's still pressed on to a single press vinyl. Usually if the original press was of low sound quality the simply vinyl team represses would be made to sound louder but as close to the original source for matching the quality of sound.

Hey peeps, does this sound any better than the other, 'quiet' pressings out there? If any album deserves a proper remaster (and I'm talking in the history of music as we know it,) its this.
