Amazing soundtrack, even still today! I have gone through 5 different vinyl pressings, including a brand new, sealed copy and they ALL have a bit of sibilance on the tracks: Flashdance, Lady Lady Lady, I'll Be Here Where The Heart Is, and Maniac.
I have checked my equipment so I know it isn't that.

My cheap and beat up looking copy covered with dust sounds better than half the new records I spend 30 plus bucks on. -
It's now 2023 and this classic soundtrack needs a proper 40th Anniversary expanded edition CD along with a blue vinyl reissue!
