Has anybody else come across a blue Verve label? It has a V6-8806 on the cover with a V6 8806 on a blue Verve label

You know, there are some actions that some of us have committed that should be against the law. Mine's should be ignoring this "Classic" of an album!!! I guess I was scared to try it, because of Mr. Smith's early recordings. Yes, they are classic, but I can't get into the early Jazz too much, not enough "Super-Spunk" for me("Got My Mojo Workin'" is tight though!). But when I finally decided to stop being a "Chicken" and bought it, MAN!!!! It is non-stop Jazzy Funk at it's best. I can see why it was voted his best album ever, it deserves to be labled that. It has everything I look for in a '70's Jazz album, great playing with the ability to take the music in so many directions. One thing I can say about Jimmy Smith is that he always seem to have great Guitar work with him. The Wah-Wah and Electric Guitars here are off the hook! To put it mildly (if I could), I need to let off for good behavor, so I can continue to ware out this "Classic"....
