Various – Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

This is my catalog number but the runout has "Bobbi G Welcome to 1979" on it.

The edition I bought has a skip at the end of Mr. Blue Sky and midway through Lake Shore Drive. bounces up and down frequently. Audio quality is good overall.

Great curated collection of songs, too bad it’s lacking in dynamics (on my Pro-Ject X2 and Marantz amp) overall it’s flat and tinny; no surface noise. Edges are sharp though and the stylus drags into the first song on both sides of A. My 12 yr old loves the music and the movie so it’s a small price to pay (27.00USD) for something I know my son will enjoy.

Such a great playlist, every songs a banger, much better than the first movies soundtrack IMO. Sound quality to my untrained ear sounds great, although I dont think its very likely they sourced every song from its original master, the quality is good enough that I can blast it without noticing the difference. Also very quiet vinyl no pops or static, but did arrive with a paper sleeve.

I so wanted to have this in my collection!
I've spent over 2 months of my time shipping back bad copies direct to Disney.
Apparently there is no quality control at Hollywood pressings.
All 3 copies had a dime size distorted wavy area in the same place.
I sent photos and specifically requested that they visually inspect the 3rd copy so we didn't have the same problem.
Upon arrival of the 3rd copy I immediately noticed the same defect and tossed it on the turntable to see how it sounded.
The 3rd copy was warped so bad you could stick a quarter in between the vinyl and the platter.
I'm not exaggerating at all and truly wanted this but after 3 trips to the post office for returns and all the email correspondence I tossed in the towel on this one!
I have the first album and it'll be a lonely vol 1 setting in my collection by itself.
After seeing the other 2 reviews with the same problems I was shocked to see that they have not corrected their problems at Hollywood pressings!

First one purchased was badly warped, returned and replacement is warped also. Also, the outer edge on second one is off kilter, which makes the record look like it is moving back and forth. Hollywood Records doesn't to appear to be contracting a pressing plant with good quality control.

Amazing lp and album especially the Tyler Bates comp , every single on the awesome mix vol 2 is memorable I really love it a lot I hope vol 3 can top it but I highly doubt it . The quality is superb really satisfied .
