ABSOLUTELY outstanding pressing. No idea what anyone else is listening to but the pressing I'm listening to sounds fantastic.

Unfortunately, I cannot share other people‘s enthusiasm on this reissue at all. Although I am not able to compare it with an initial pressing I think that this remaster is very loud with very poor dynamics. This is another great example for a loudness victim. Transparency is missing and the bass is just loud and muddy, far from being clean and precise. Pressing quality isn’t flawless as well, surface noise is evident even after professional cleaning. Only highlight for me is the packaging quality. Wouldn’t buy this again.

Absolutely superb pressing and mastering of this reissue. The Bass is taught and the vocals are super clean and clear.

What a glorious record! I loved it when it came out, more than 20 years ago, I've held on to my original CD, which features a thick, glossy booklet, and now this pressing is absolutely top-notch. Wonderful!
"In denial" is a duet with Kylie Minogue, yes, it clearly says so in the album sleeve.

Impressed by both the sound quality and the glossy packaging.

Is that Kylie Minogue in In Denial?
There is no info. I think she is the Voice in B4.

Word of warning: if you're the kind of person who likes your records to come with a CD/ code, this (as well as the rereleases of Release and Fundamental, presumably) doesn't come with one.

Impressive remaster on vinyl, crisp vocals and a very clean pressing. The bass drum on album opener 'For Your Own Good' grabs your attention immediately and this remaster is very skilfully done, Tennant's vocals are remarkably clear and have been brought to the front of the mix. Nightlife was the last PSB album I bought and I thought it was a bit of a mess back in 1999, but hearing it tonight, I can't help but think that the album has aged remarkably well. It's a solid collection of tunes bar a few tracks towards the end (Footsteps is a bizarre inclusion when the Pet's had far better b-sides from this period) but 'The Only One', 'Radiophonic' and 'Boy Strange' are far better album tracks than I previously thought way back in 1999 - post millennium PSB tension perhaps?
                  This remaster is highly recommended.
