My pressing sounds excellent and completely free of any defects. The issue with this lp is with the production and always has been. This particular UK pressing has the deepest bottom end I have heard between the 1st USA, this pink rimmed island UK press and the atco Usa early 80s press which was remastered by George piros).
While I like the remaster by piros from the early 80s a bit better, this UK press has the best bass while the remaster from the 80s has a better mid and top end. Overall, I recommend this UK pressing for its sound and collectibility due to UK pink rims having cache and it’s a gatefold sleeve in addition where the 80s repress is not. -
This pressing sounds bad. Avoid if possible. I've had a few of them. Very quiet in general, will have audible dimples on the vinyl too.
