10 years have ed since I last listened to this album. It has aged well – Future Proof could not be a more apt title for the first song. Sinead O Connor's voice is quite haunting.

Any ideas why this doesn't get a repress (e.g. 20th Anniversary has come and gone). Is it an issue to clear samples for vinyl or something??

Edited 6 months agoA truly phenomenal piece of work often overshadowed by their previous albums, the issue of Daddy G not being overly present in the making of this record, the distinct lack of samples and difference in sound (including Rob's voice).
I wish people (fans) would listen to this album without the mindset of 'is it better than blue lines?" etc etc etc and just let this album sit with them and let it sink in. I feel it's some of Robert's BEST work, it is soft and vulnerable but there is the menace of Mezzanine - it just lies low and at times is hidden in the music. Plus, Rob's voice is insane on this record.
I love it enough for all of the haters that don't. Shame it never got officially reissued like the other albums - it appears to have been due to be as a test pressing was made in 2016. -
I was able to place an order before they became 'out of stock' but not exactly confident I'll get a copy as I haven't heard anything about a reissue coming out.
Anyone else happen to see this listing on Walmart.com: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Massive-Attack-Massive-Attack-100th-Window-Vinyl/509131037?athbdg=L1100&from=/search -
RIP Sinéad O'Connor. Truly a masterpiece of work due largely in part to her contributions and voice throughout this album.

I bought this brand new at an indie record store in Anchorage, AK of all places back in 2003. Little did I know that it would become one of the more rare records in my collection.

A truly inspirational album.dark, emotive and completely original.i refuse to buy any of their stuff now because I refuse to be ripped off.come on guys, take a leaf out of fsol's book and put your material out at a price that you faithful fans of the past nearly 30 years have invested in.
