Album sounds great and quiet, however not 180g as the notes describe. Both of mine weigh in at 150g. Not as good as the Angst 2LP pressing but still great. Now they just need to release Adios on vinyl.

This has always been one of my favorite KMFDM albums, and was so excited when I learned they were finally going to press on vinyl, but imagine my surprise to find they completely ruined the flow of the album by changing the order of the songs for no good reason. It makes it so hard to enjoy an album that I had imagined would often be on my turntable, but every time I drop the needle I start to cringe. Shame on Cap'n K for offering this abomination of what should be such a great album. Same goes for Angst, although he didn't change the order of the songs on that one, throwing the single version of Blood at the end of a side rather than at the end of the album also for me ruins the flow of a flawless album

Excellent audio. I've compared it to some flac files and it sounds the same. Printing is very nice, inner sleeves contains lyrics. Highly recommended release.

After finally receiving my copy after the delay, I can say that the pressing is fine. Switching up the track listing doesn't really make any sense to me, but if you don't care about that then it's fine. Personally, I think you might as well stick with a CD copy. The original track order is better and with this being such a digital sounding album to begin with, having it on vinyl adds pretty much nothing to the sound. But if you absolutely must have the wax, it doesn't sound bad.

They damaged over 150 copies of this. So around 350 went out for preorders. They emailed my friend about his copy telling him that and they gave him a discount for the kmfdm store. Whoever ordered theirs late didn't receive their copy. They said that they were going to press more in June but that's not for certain.

Edited 8 years agoThis is one of the best examples of how to do a reissue - take an excellent original single album, and then do a stunning job of remastering it, give it two slabs of clean vinyl to stretch comfortably over, and voila, this absolute classic sounds better than the original (and I'd have been happy if it was just as good). My RSD purchases are going to have to sit untouched till I'm done blasting this.
