Edited 14 years agoThe second album of Rush's post Vapor Trails (in that case it was just great to have the band back, no matter what form they took) but disappointingly, Snakes And Arrows is almost sonically interchangeable with the three studio albums that preceded it, only not as good. The record sounds dense, cluttered and lacking in flair, though there are a few interesting moments in The Main Monkey Business and Malignant Narcissism (Rush instrumentals are and always will be brilliant).
I'll always buy Rush music and appreciate the band's work - they're amazing musicians and great guys, but I'm starting to think that maybe they're Losing It. -
Undoubtedly one of the best albums Rush has ever made. After 30+ years, these guys are still the best.
