Awesome deep full rounded bass on this vinyl pressing. Sounds fantastic on my system - Rega Brio, Rega P3 w/Elyse, and B&W 606 S2 AE. Crank it!

Super fun and super funky. Just like I like my Jamiroquai. And this album sounds fantastic on vinyl. Nice and cleanly pressed with no background noise or distortion. The gatefold jacket and thick printed inner sleeves are glossy and beautiful. It also came with a code for a nice bonus. I put off buying this album for too long, but I’m glad that I finally picked up a copy.

Great album. Some futuristic sounds, in the style of Daft Punk in some moments, some familiar sounds like what we heard on RDLS, and some old Jamiroquai on the second half of the album. 9/10 for the music and 5/5 for a really nice pressing. Vinyl sounds clear.

A really great album, with an easy 10 excellent tracks. People are so hung-up on his OLD sound that they forget that he has to move with the times. Acid Jazz is dead, it was dead 10 years ago.

His first 3 albums are timeless, but you have to move on. This is the sound of Jamiroquai in 2017, funky as always, but now with good doses of nu-disco, nice 'Chic-esque' guitars and great drums.

Give it a good listen, it's still Jamiroquai.... but it's 2017 Jamiroquai. 5/5.

Edit: Also the vinyl sounds WARM, really nice pressing.

A great album for first time listeners, a good album for long-time fans. The two singles, "Automaton" and "Cloud 9" are definite highlights. "Automaton" is Jamiroquai at their innovative best – a lead single curveball that sounds equal parts Jamiroquai and Daft Punk (a lazy comparison I've read many times, but probably the best way to describe it to the masses). On the flipside, "Cloud 9" is Jay Kay at his hedonistic best, showing everyone who's ever tried to make a smooth funk song just how it's done.

Even though Jay has described this album as "All killer no filler", there are a couple of okay songs in "Hot Property" and "Nights Out In The Jungle", but they fit in well with the overall atmosphere of the album, so I can see why they were included. However, the highs far outweigh the lows. "Something About You" is a gorgeous, sun-tinged track that will please newcomers and Jami-veterans alike, whilst "Dr Buzz" and "Vitamin" will satisfy the first three album purists due to their retro feel.

Overall, great album – a truly irable achievement considering it has been SEVEN years since the last record. It is sure to be my most played album this summer, and I'm sure I won't be the only one. Here's to the hoping the next album doesn't take another seven years.
