I made this double AA side record with my high school buddy Mike Plaw in a bedroom in Wolverhampton we used a couple of key boards, a basic sampler with 5 seconds of memory and a drum machine.
This record was signed by Cleveland City Records and we agreed Bumper to be licensed to the Fantasia House records Jeremy Healy mix taking our tune to the masses! The AA side “Fixation” was played by John Digweed and many other DJs at the time, including hearing it on the BBC Essential Mix.
Mike and I went to Cream Club Liverpool and Dave Seaman played Chrome “ Bumper” when we were dancing in the main room with 2000 up for it scouse clubbers, a moment in time I will never forget! Goose bumps still ping up on my arms recalling the epic night. Mega. 😊😊😊😊😊😊

        Promo sheet:
Another fine example of the very best of british quality.. this is the third release from the CONSOLIDTED stable and follows on in the same outstanding vein as it's predecessors.
We're talking treats in store on this AA sieded 12". Starting off with 'Bumper' - in the immortal words of update 'It sees big beats and even bigger bongos laced with that harmonica kook...' Total dancefloor satisfaction guaranteed. 'Fixation' turns out a truly exciting ho - 'Though percussion meets dreamy sliding synth and a hummungous jazz b-line wich drops to a screaming vocal ....a very big record'.
