Ice Cube – Lethal Injection

How does this one sound compared to the recent 1LP reissues?

You would be surprised at how good this sounds. I accidentally scratched mine so there's a click through most of Bop Gun which is kinda annoying, but otherwise it's nigh-flawless. Heavy piece of plastic, very little noise, almost an hour long. Can't believe they fit it on one record. Plus, it's just a good album, my personal favorite of his. If you're looking to get into Ice Cube, or maybe just want a copy on vinyl, go with this pressing. The bass is rich, deep, and clear, nothing sounds muddy or distorted, even close to the end. A technical and sonic marvel. You can still get these new as of 6/7/24, so don't it up.

Lovely pressing, which gives tribute to the deep basses and dynamic mixing. "Really Doe", the majestic "Ghetto Bird" celebrating the George Clinton, I still see the intro pictures to "Menace II Society" when I hear this, "You Know How We Do It" ... so much quality and atmosphere here! The treat with this edition here is the cover of course, which creates beautiful reflections in the light. What a treat for the eyes and for the child in the music lover. The last (almost) completely convincing work of the ex-NWA member and lyrical beast.

Sounds good but definitely on the quieter side of pressings.

A very good album by Cube, but his change was already clear back then, the switch from a highly political, angry hard core rapper to a more funky, smooth and self satisfied rider. So while this remains his last good record (to date), "Ghetto Bird" still gives me CHILLS, also thanks to the movie MENACE TO SOCIETY, I realize some weaker songs and don´t understand certain decision, such as a track like "Bop Gun", which I like, appears here and the great "My Skin Is My Sin" is hidden on a B-Side of a 12". But this just underlines my theses. I really like the musical aspects though, the deepness of the arrangements and his guts to try new things. But as written, after that one I turned away from the man, as he did himself for a while from the music business.

Thought I puchased the Respect the Classics version, but recived this instead, but it really doesn’t matter. This pressing sounds incredible with no sibilance and has a nice warm sound to it. Absolutely love the album. A west coast W!🙌

This is a decent release what comes to sound quality. Little quiet but otherwise sounds really good. In my version there's a spot in the end of track A2 where needle gets stuck and continuously keeps looping.

This sounds very good, especially with having all of the music squeezed on 1 LP!

WOW this is my fave IC album but damn it’s good really rich deep bass that just gets room shaking like a strip club sound system.
If you run a big rig like me this is truly….. you know what this sounds better than the CD. There I said it! Awesome!
