Incredibile sounding record (in every format, including this one): recommended

Absolutely amazing set. Crisp, clear and deep Sound. Music and pressing is just perfect. I wonder recent editions with bonus tracks. But I’m not gonna try to get new one not to be disappointed.

I just picked this up as a used product. The media is NM in appearance, but I'm hearing a lot of hiss in the trailing fades of disk 4. A couple other spots as well. Is it my gear or is it in the "pudding"? Is it the blue vinyl? JVC QL-Y3F/2MBlue/Luxman C-02 phono. I've been scrutinizing a lot of other LP waves and have not seen this noise elsewhere. Thanks for any input.

Does anyone know how this was remastered/originally mastered? I'm asking because my first impressions using a setup I jerry rigged in my office (A TEAC turntable, early 2000s Zenith Receiver, and mid 90s Bose Acoustimas), is that this an absolutely amazing set. I've been wanting this for quite some time, and am quite pleased with my first listening, though was disappointed that the Sleeves are not Poly lined (though was intrigued that the paper sleeves had a cut out to make gripping the records by the edge easier). The Left/Right channel dynamic is very impressive on my first listen. Given the warmth of the sound I want to say this is a true analog cut, but the clarity is surprising, even given a really quick wipe down to remove the paper liner refuse.

Pressing wise it sounds good. Musically, it doesn't hit the mark for me. Definitely 2 big names but nothing inspiring or anything that grabs my ear. I can only hear so many songs with 3 to 4 note blues runs as they lemant about a women lost.

I love the mix on this record. B.B King is in the right channel singing and playing his “Lucille” and Clapton in the left channel doing the same. You can capture all the differences between the Fender with single coils vs the Gibson with humbuckers. Great album and this pressing sounds superb and wide.
