Banging classic should be in every trance collection, one of the best tracks out of 99! Absolute banner! -

Featured on the film Human Traffic. A 90s clubbing film where they go on a drug-fuelled weekend party!

I'm a massive Ferry Corsten fan, and I like the melody of this track, but I just can't get past that snare!! :( Need another mix, maybe Picotto. -

This still stands, over 20 years on, as one of the greatest, no, the greatest trance track of all time. -

Out of the blue - one of those tracks that comes around once in a while and defines an entire era for some people.
5/5 -
Ferry's own 5AM mix rightly takes the a-side placing. It's basically just a technical update on the original, bringing it inline with the likes of his remix of Adagio For Strings. Some big effects added, and a more serious tech style bassline.
Perfectly usable, but the crowd will still prefer the original mix.
On the b-side, Mauro Picotto takes his Lizard off-beat bassline and slaps it on top of the track.
That's pretty much it.
The Angelz remix should be docked a star for that spelling alone, but it's simply an inconsequential diversion that never needed to be created in the first place. I bought the original UK Essential Recordings 12" brand new (with the original on the a-side and the Angelz remix on the b-side), played it once and never again.
This 12" could have been single sided and I'd rate it higher. -

Still gives me the goosebumps after all these years. First time I heard this on a late night John Digweed set in 99 I knew I had to track it down. Such an amazing tune even though I am well past my trance days. However it will always have a place in my collection of Trance I was unable to part with. -

Opinions are had about the 90s trance wave and fair enough there was a lot of shite released in this period. This came off the end of the wave, which was particularly shite ridden. But. It is just so good. Of all the old trance bangers this is defo in my top 5

This single will have made you dance, vibrate, travel, so it has potential, its warm melody explodes very quickly after an already promising introduction, the bass is striking, difficult to remain without reactions. The enjoyable atmosphere of "Out Of The Blue" puts you fishing for the whole night. This plate has something to blow your brain, moreover it has inspired many other artists to compose trance.
When the trance tsunami is felt, nothing can stop it, moreover it still blows in my mind !
