The most expensive price for this single is currently in Lithuania (25 euro). I think I might book a flight to go and see if I can track this copy and see what other items they have . . . -

The Boney King of Nowhere.
I love this single. The soft drums, his voice (of course), the build up, and then the subtle altering of melody through guitar and voice at the 3:20 point on the full album version. Sublime. Sad, lamenting, but there there . . .
It is this promo edition of the single I like most. Thankfully the full album edit is included along with the radio edit. I don’t like radio edits. My attention span is fine, especially when it comes to listening to perfection, no need to edit perfection. And the promo single does not include any additional tracks which’d detract from the genius of this song. This promo edition is packaged minimally in a crystal case, with the single circular artwork glued to the inside of the case neatly. It is effective. Because the artwork is glued to the case, ensure you don’t get a scratched case, but you could always polish the scratches off with a fine grade polish or toothpaste (?). I wish they'd package more singles like this.
The video is. Well. I don’t know what the video is. Wincey-eyed York creeping through a dark, though lambently-lit forest with Victorian stuffed animal weddings and tea parties. Spookycreepywarmandfuzzy. Just like the song. -
So bad pressing. the pitch is faster & sounds like screaming metal. -
The a-side is the usual unusual Radiohead, but the b-side is the gem. Play this for anyone who doesn't know Thom Yorke's distinct vocals, and they wouldn't guess it was Radiohead. The song starts off a bit like a spooky <a href="http://discogs.cinepelis.org/artist/De-Phazz">De-Phazz</a> song, but with Thom trying to scare you. Then the funky bassline comes in, and people really get confused. I can see how this wouldn't have matched well with the rest of <i>Hail To The Thief</i>, but it's great to see they're expanding their musical styles so far.
