Boris (3) – Boris At Last -er-

No complaints. One of my favorite records of all time and the locked groove adds personality. Sound quality is phenomenal, I actually forgot I was playing the record at one point and thought it was bluetooth lol

This version is definitely better than the Third Man: more dynamic, better separation of instruments, more textured. After buying the Third Man version and hearing how noisy it was, I actually reverted to the CD. This Belgian version delivers the superior sound I expect from vinyl.

Just bought the 2023(?) repress and it does not have the tip on jacket. Just a heads up, there's a difference between pressings. Sounds huge, no issues in the audio

Mine was pretty dang crackley at the beginning but once everything kicks in it really doesn’t matter- the dynamic range is huge on this. Destructive, filthy guitar tones. The process of the on side one looping once it hit the end of the groove, realizing it was repeating after like 30 seconds, lifting the needle and feeling the void of silence after being under the distortion blanket at the end of #2, then lowering the needle onto side b and being roundhouse kicked in the teeth with #3 was an amazing experience

There’s a gap in between each song that is noticeable enough to stop the flow but other than that a nice release. Love the foggy look of the album cover.

Can't relate to the review by Spawara personally, my copy sounds good. Even if I don't feel this album fits the vinyl format

Bought this at the recent tour, they still have it at the merch table. Unfortunately, the pressing is pretty bad. There's a lot of surface noise, tons of pops and it's super warped. Not sure what happened here, as other Boris pressings that I have from Third Man were fine. Shame, as it's hands down my favorite Boris album. At least the foldout poster's nice

My copy has no-fill in the left channel at different spots, esp. toward the end of side A. Sounds similar to a speck of dust or scratch but more like a tiny ripping noise. After recording this to digital files, I can see it in the waveforms. (Imagine a sine wave with some saw teeth in it, pointing down in this case.) These flaws cannot be cleaned away; these are flaws in the grooves themselves. It's a shame, because the last 2/3 of side A absolutely shred.

I wish there was 6 ers or something because er 3 changes the mood during the album and it would of been cool if it was equal yk???? i hope that makes sense
