referencing COMA - The Album 2 (CD, Compilation) COMACD 7
The Force Mass Motion track is way too slow. They probably recorded it from vinyl and didn't realize that it's supposed to play at 45 rpm rather than 33. Some tracks can sound good when you do that, but this one doesn't. It's a bit of a mystery that noone at the record label noticed this mishap before the CD was pressed. I picked up on it immediately when I first heard this CD, and I was 16 at the time! Well, perhaps it was deliberate. If it was, then I wonder what went through their minds at the time – it sounds awful.
On the other hand, Dassic's "Hedgehopper" is great and a nice little piece of vintage Danish techno history, so this CD could be worth picking up for that one if you find it cheap. Said track doesn't seem to be available anywhere else either. It's a bit too short though. The rest of this compilation is mostly early 90's commercial dance music, some good, some not so good.
