4977 - black, embossed cover, seal on shrink runs left to right
1015 - purple, embossed cover, seal on shrink rap runs top to bottom
(Different pressing plants were used for the black vinyl vs. the colored which explains the differences in shrink wrap seals.)

Edited 2 months agoAgree with other review. Sounds great. Guitars and vocals seem in line with OG recording, but the mix has a fuller sound w a bit more bottom end compared to my very old CD.

Only 200 of these cassettes were made, alongside the 3,000 "Translucent Green" LPs. -
This sounds fantastic. The vocals are especially well represented here.

bought a new opaque red copy ( 2021 pressing ) from revelation records. opened a sealed copy and it was no " code" included. the sticker on the front cover was red instead of blue. maybe there are any differences from the USA and European release ???
anybody knows it?

Should this vinyl version really be re-classified as blue marble? My copy is more blue than purple as is every picture of others I have seen.

I have one that is not embossed. But says “jacket made in Canada” on the spine. It has no bar code. Black vinyl. Purchased in Nj or NY in 1990.
I have another with no bar code. It does not say “jacket made in Canada” . Black vinyl. Shrink wrap seem up and down.
Could these both be 1989 represses?
Also, these covers show the audience faces better than my copy that has a barcode. -
